"Barrier Island Group for the Arts" is Sanibel Island's Art Center and home for a wide variety of classes, performances and shows. BIG Arts hosts classes in painting, dance & music and languages as well as a summer program with classes for kids. Events range from musical performances to the great lecture series, movies, and shows of local and regional artists.
Alliance for the Arts, Lee County
The Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers is a very active community art center serving both the city of Fort Myers and the surrounding areas in Lee County. The Alliance provides classes and performances and acts as an advocate for the arts in Lee County. A number of TG artists are involved with the Alliance.

The Gallery next door is Hirdie-Girdie, the other wonderful cooperative gallery on Sanibel.
